The Blacklist – Matt Williams

27 11 2007

I was never a fan of Matt Williams. He looked like a ghost and there was something just not right about a 21-year old balding rookie. Throughout his career, Williams turned out to be a decent power-hitter who came close to 400 home runs and an MVP trophie. He managed to put together 6 seasons of 30+ home runs and 4 with 100+ RBI and 4 Silver Slugger awards but what was amazing was the 43 home runs he hit in just 112 games before the strike of ’94. Who knows how many he would have hit with a full season but it could have been in the 55-65 range, which is scary.

Well, now we all know it came with the help of steroids. For that reason he has landed on Wax Heaven’s Blacklist.
