It took way more planning than what I am used to but everything is finally in order. The Spectrum of Stars contests will take place this weekend and it won’t cost anyone a thing to get in on the action. Ultimately, I did not want to charge to join the raffle because it would have meant that hundreds would have signed up and won nothing.
David, from the 1st and Goal blog has sponsored the event, which will take place all day Saturday & Sunday. He has covered the shipping and supplies so please check out his site and show him some love. Unfortunately, due to his sponsorship, he won’t be eligible to win.
Speaking of winning, no one will be able to win more than once. You must have a (FREE) WordPress acount with an avatar to enter and yes, you can put your name in on every single contest. If by chance you win twice, we will roll the dice again to make sure as many people have a chance to win something.
My request is to tell all your collecting buddies, especially the ones who love non-sports trading cards. I pretty much have much of the Internet covered but turn your card shop buddies and other friends onto the site, as I am always looking for more readers to join in on the fun.

one more thing though, it seems like spreading the word somehow isnt right.. It to me is a reward of the people who are always reading this sweet blog. If a bunch of people who dont even read here come they might just flood us..
but if youre doing it to get more business I understand, and will tell me weed friends/playboy pervs.. (basically everyone I know)

This is why I joined the card collecting blog community. I don’t how to articulate this but I have see numerous acts of generosity and I’m truly humbled and amazed. We got each other’s backs.
