Farrah Fawcett, the iconic actress and sex symbol who has been battling Cancer for three years, is reportedly near death.
Fawcett, 62, was hospitalized last week but was expected to be released before “things changed”, according to the New York Daily News. Family and close friends were at her bedside on Wednesday night.
Farrah rose to fame thanks to the hit TV show, Charlie’s Angels. In 1977, Topps released an Angel’s set with lots of different cards of the beautiful blond vixen with many currently available through the secondary market.
There is currently an unopened wax box for over $200 on eBay.

Really?!? I didn’t see anything about this in my news feed thanks to all that cheating governor and John & Kate divorce crapola. Fawcett was a little bit before my time, but I still remember Charlie’s Angels. Man, this is a sad week.
I remember my brother and I had her poster on our bedroom wall. We were both very saddened to hear about her state of health last night. She essentially has one of the worst cancers you can get, it’s something like 95% fatal.
I saw the Dateline (I think) special on her about a month ago, and it was just so sad.. Half was like a tribute to her, showing her all glamorous in her various roles throughout her career – and the rest was about what exactly she’s facing with her illness.. It showed her flying out to Europe where she was being treated by one of the world’s best doctors specializing in her specific cancer, and it literally showed these procedures she’s enduing, as she laid there in agony.. She wanted to show up close and personally how real this is, and the great lengths she’s going thru trying to beat it..
And another thing that’s just so sad, is the man she’s been with for the past 20-some-odd years, who she had a kid with, finally asked her to marry him.. He said she said agreed, and as soon as she could get the strength to walk down the aisle she would.. But it’s not looking too good, cuz I guess family and friends all gathered by her bedside last night, which is usually a pretty bad sign..
Definitely sad news. I had just read about Ryan Oneil proposing to her. Lately she had become the butt of many jokes, excuse the pun. The SHATner roast comes to mind, again excuse the pun. I guess that anal cancer is a real pain in the ass, please excuse the pun a third time. May she rest in peace and suffer no more.
My first crush was on Ms Fawcett when I was about 10, and yes I owned the poster.

So sorry to hear that a great person has passed away, my condolences to the family and friends of Farrah Fawcett. I have great memories of watching her on Charlie’s Angels. There is truely another angel in heaven now. She will be sadly missed.

AP – Michael Jackson has been rushed to the hospital, a fire department official told the Los Angeles Times. Capt. Steve Ruda said Thursday that Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.
