Both Donruss and Upper Deck are rushing to put out the first cards of Brett Favre in a Jets uniform. Below are the two results. Which card, if any, will you be looking to pull?
Personally, I don’t like either of them. The Donruss features a press conference photo which I hate and the Upper Deck uses one of those and a patch that is not “game-used”.

I don’t care for either because I’m not huge into Favre. Given a choice, I would have to go with the Donruss card because, as I wrote myself, the fact that Upper Deck uses the term Broadway Brett is a “slap in the face to (Joe) Namath.” He hasn’t taken a snap in New York so how can UD give him a nickname carrying that much history and prestige?
Unless you do a Topps airbrush job, the cheesy press conference photo is all they can use. Topps kinda screwed up on their Favre photoshops this year though. At least you have a chance of actually pulling the Donruss card. How much cash is some fool going to pay for a fake Jets patch with Brett’s mug on it?
I want neither. A fake letter with a bad photo, another just a bad photo. That gimmick card though is hilarious. I still wouldn’t want that either.
