It appears that in my writing I have shuffled a few feathers, specifically those of the collectors of prospects. It seems that my writing of a certain Jupiter Hammerheads slugger has brought some unwanted attention to eBay and might have spiked up sales of this kid’s first Bowman release.
Of course, I am talking about none other than “Hulk Logan” AKA Logan Morrison.
Last night I received two messages within minutes of each other but by completely “different” people asking me to kindly remove my posts about Logan. According to them, people have been stockpiling on Logan’s cards because of his relatively low status due to being a Marlins prospect. Unfortunately for these guys, Logan’s cards have been going up by a moderate amount and he believes I am to blame for it.
I am sure Logan’s stats in Single-A has nothing to do with it…
Anyways, I am sorry to say that I will not stop writing about “Hulk” and any other Minor League player. In fact, in a couple of weeks I will be attending another Hammerheads game and hope to not only score yet another signature from the autograph-friendly giant but also plan to add him to the Name Droppin’ section of Wax Heaven.
I don’t know about letting us faithful readers know who these guys are [they maybe one in the same], but it would be interesting to read what ‘they’ had to say.
I think it is one thing to build upon a stash of a prospect, but people have to realize that we aren’t living in 1997 and your secret gets out at a faster pace.
Maybe if your prospects were playing in the Siberian Summer League, just maybe no one else would no about them, though I doubt it.

” Mario i am one of the biggest morrison fans and have a great collection and plan to buy more because this kid is the real deal and a lock for the hot sheet this week. But please if u dont mind killing your talk of logan i would appreciate it greatly. I know how powerful the internet can be and i think if other start to see this it will really hurt his prices and make them go up. I just want to say u are dead on with everything u said as of him being a great kid and one of the best for IP autos but please take your post down it is way way to soon for collectors to know how good this kid is

They’d hate to read my blog then…I’m sure that Morrison’s .339 BA .401 OBP and 10 HR 58 RBI at 20 yrs. old has nothing to do with his popularity.

Let me tell you, he is one of the nicest through the mail guys. He could be looking at an ETA of 2010.
