Talk about perfect timing! It turns out that Rookie Redemption #2 from 2008 Topps Finest is of none other than Jay Bruce of the Cincinnati Reds. The catch? Well, unlike the first redemption, this one is autographed. Man, it must feel great being a Reds fan these days. Well, except for the whole living in Ohio thing.

Mario, dude, seriously. How do you find this tuff out so fast??
The best part is that one of them sold on eBay last week for $1.25. Little bit of sellers remorse maybe??
The even better part is that some sellers have also gotten this news and have jacked their price to $199.
It pays to hold onto em boys. I still have all 3 of mine
this year’s #2 is better than last years. anyone remember dukes???
Could this also be a sign of more autos to come? I certainly hope so
Charlie, you should put one of those #2’s on eBay while it’s hot!!!
Woo hoo! I have Redemption #2 and this card is sweeeeeeeeeet! Not only is it Jay Bruce but it’s an auto!!! I also have #4 and I’m praying that it’s Longoria. Thanks Mario, you just made my day!
No, no, I must have given the wrong impression. By saying “all 3 of mine”, I meant number’s 3, 4, and 8. that’s why I hope this isn’t the only auto.
I’ve got #3 as well!! Here’s hoping for another auto for it as well
Looks like that one’s officially outta my price range. Gotta get ahold of some others. Is Fukudome supposed to be amongst the redemptions?
Ohh, and burn on Ohio. Jejejeje.
I’ve got #3 and odds are, the even numbers will be autos and the odds won’t. Figures.
Easy on the O-H-I-O comments…..you have readers from all over the states, not just sunny FLA!
Daryl, I was just teasing!
Besides, no place is worse than Tampa. I was there in 2004…..wow.
Mario, I understand…..I’m just having fun too! In northern Ohio, we have thick skins. Though, NO CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 44 YEARS has a tendency to make us bitter at times! Keep up the great work!
Mario, you must be talking about Legends Field in Tampa, which is the only pro baseball stadium there. It’s used by the Yankees, so of course it is terrible. There’s a great team in St. Petersburg though!
I never went to an actual game. I had to go there on a business trip and the smog alone almost killed me.
This year’s team is exciting! …and I still remember videos of a young, Josh Hamilton when he was drafted by the Rays.
I’ve been to Tampa a few times and don’t remember much smog. I think that L.A. sets the gold standard for smog…
Ah, Josh Hamilton … the one that got away. I can only dream about how good this year’s Rays team would be with him in right field!
Yeah, Hamilton is amazing this year. Can’t wait to see what his final numbers are.
Well, I knew I wasn’t insane about the smog. Sounds like it’s a lot better now, though. Good to hear.
